Sales teams & SDRs
A reason to call every account on your list
Outreach without a reason sounds like every other message in the inbox. Findingbase finds the companies in your territory and shows what has just happened to them: a new site, a public contract won, a change of management, each dated and sourced. Your team opens the conversation with a fact, not a pitch.
Who it is for
- SDRs and BDRs who need a steady flow of accounts with a reason to reach out this week, not a static list bought once a year.
- Account executives working a territory who want to know when something changes at the accounts they already target.
- Sales managers splitting markets between reps by region, sector and company size.
- Founders selling on their own before the first sales hire, who need focus more than volume.
The signals that matter
New site
Indirect signalA new site means new budgets and decisions taken locally. It is one of the clearest dated facts to open a call with: “You registered a new establishment in the region last month…”
Contract won
Indirect signalA company that has just won a public contract has work to deliver: capacity, suppliers, tools. Award notices are public, so you can mention them openly.
Leadership change
Indirect signalNew directors tend to review suppliers and projects early in their tenure. The date in the official register tells you whether you are early or late.
Expansion
Indirect signalPartialWhen the official headcount band moves up, the processes and tools that worked for a smaller team start to strain. Partial: in France, from headcount band changes and capital increases.
AI hypothesis
AI hypothesisOur AI links several facts to your offer and proposes an angle, labelled as a hypothesis with its reasoning. Your rep checks it before using it in a message.

A workflow that works
Draw the territory
Search by country, region, NACE sector, headcount band and, where accounts are published, revenue. Save one search per rep or per segment.
Sort by what just happened
Filter on buying signals. Each one is dated, sourced and labelled: declared need, indirect signal or AI hypothesis.
Qualify against your offer
Describe what you sell once. Our AI assesses each company’s fit, explains why and suggests an angle; its output is always labelled as AI.
Work the list
Add the best accounts to a list. Enrichment finds the company’s own website, a generic role email and the switchboard number.
Keep the pipeline fed
A watch emails you new matching companies and signals. On paid plans, export the list as CSV into your CRM. Findingbase never sends messages for you.
Rules to respect, country by country
Findingbase finds companies and their company-level contact points; it does not send anything. You remain the sender, so the rules of the recipient’s country apply to you. A short summary, not legal advice:
| Channel | France | Germany |
|---|---|---|
| Generally allowed between businesses when the message relates to the recipient’s professional activity, the sender is clearly identified and opting out is easy (CNIL position). | Unsolicited advertising email generally requires prior express consent, even between businesses (§ 7 UWG), apart from a narrow exception for existing customers. | |
| Phone | Calling a company about its business is common practice. Respect any request not to be called again. | Cold calls to businesses require at least presumed consent: a concrete reason to believe the company would welcome the call (§ 7 UWG). |
| Generic addresses (contact@, info@) | The CNIL treats them as company contact details rather than an individual’s personal data. | They are company addresses too, but the consent rule for advertising email still applies to them. |
In Germany, favour approaches that respect the UWG: answering public tenders, introductions, events, post, and calls only where presumed consent can reasonably be argued. Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain are planned, not covered yet; for orientation only, Belgium generally limits unsolicited B2B email to generic company addresses, and the Netherlands and Spain generally require prior consent for cold B2B email. Check with counsel for your own situation. See also data protection and GDPR.
Frequently asked questions
Can Findingbase sync with our CRM?
There is no native CRM sync. On paid plans you export lists as CSV, which any CRM can import. See pricing.
Do you provide direct dials or personal emails of decision-makers?
No. Findingbase gives the company’s own website, a generic role address such as contact@ or info@ when one can be found, and the switchboard number. It never guesses personal emails, has no personal mobile numbers and uses no LinkedIn data. Officers published by the French national company register are shown for information only: the register’s licence forbids using these personal data for commercial prospecting, so Findingbase never exports their names or suggests contacting them by name.
Can it run our email sequences?
No. Findingbase does not send emails or run sequences. It tells you whom to contact and why; you send from your own tools, under your own name.
