Terms of service

Last updated 20 October 2026.

These terms govern the use of Findingbase at findingbase.com (the “Service”), published by the person identified in the legal notice (“Findingbase”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them on behalf of the business you represent.

1. A service for businesses

The Service is intended exclusively for professionals acting for the purposes of their trade, business or profession. It is not offered to consumers. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you act for a business and have authority to bind it.

2. What the Service does

Findingbase helps businesses find companies, read dated buying signals from public sources, qualify companies against their offer with the help of AI, organise them in lists, set watches and export them. Coverage differs by country and is described on the coverage page; pilot countries have partial data, labelled as such.

Company data comes from public sources and is provided as published by those sources, with its source and collection date. We do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date at the time you use it.

We may improve, change or remove features. We will tell you in advance of any change that materially reduces what your paid plan includes.

3. Accounts and seats

  • Give accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • A seat is for one named person. Sharing a login between several people is not allowed.
  • The workspace owner manages the subscription, the seats and the members of the workspace.

4. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence: qualification against your offer, AI hypotheses, the Findingbase AI Agent. AI output is generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and is labelled as AI in the Service. It is not professional, legal or financial advice. You must check it before relying on it.

The AI Agent prepares actions; actions that use your allowance or change your data run only after your confirmation. You remain responsible for the actions you confirm.

5. Acceptable use and prospecting rules

You must use the Service lawfully. In particular, you must:

  • comply with data protection law (GDPR and national laws) and with the rules on unsolicited communications of the recipient’s country for every message or call you make. You are the sender and the controller of your own prospecting;
  • in France, only send prospecting emails to businesses about matters related to the recipient’s professional activity, identify yourself, and offer a simple way to object in every message;
  • in Germany, not send advertising emails without the recipient’s prior express consent, including to businesses, and only make advertising calls to businesses with at least their presumed consent (§ 7 UWG);
  • in other countries, respect their equivalent rules (for instance consent requirements for cold B2B email in the Netherlands and Spain, generic addresses only in Belgium);
  • honour every objection immediately and tell people where you obtained their company’s details if they ask;
  • not use officers’ or other individuals’ personal data shown for information (for instance officers from the French national company register) for prospecting;
  • not use the Service for consumer marketing, harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose.

It is also forbidden to resell or redistribute data obtained from the Service as a dataset, to extract it by automated means other than the export features, to circumvent quotas or security measures, to probe or overload the Service, or to reverse-engineer it.

6. Plans, prices and payment

  • Plans, quotas and prices are described on the pricing page. Prices are in euros, net: VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code (micro-enterprise below the threshold). EU business customers may have to self-account for VAT under the reverse charge.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly subscriptions renew every month and yearly subscriptions every year, until cancelled.
  • Seats (Pro plan only): Pro includes 3 seats, and up to 10 seats in total can be bought online; beyond, on quote. Only the workspace owner adds or removes seats. A seat added during a billing period is billed immediately, prorated to the end of that period. A reduction takes effect at the next renewal, without refund; until then, the seats already paid remain available. Seats cannot be reduced below the members and pending invitations of the workspace.
  • Enrichment packs (Solo and Pro plans only): recurring add-ons billed with the subscription, at its billing interval, and managed by the workspace owner only. Their enrichments are added to the workspace’s monthly enrichment quota, shared by all its seats, and do not roll over from one calendar month to the next, including on yearly billing. A pack added during a billing period is billed immediately, prorated to the end of that period, and its enrichments are credited for the current calendar month in proportion to the days left. A pack removed remains until the next renewal and is not refunded. Packs cannot be bought during a free trial; at most 20,000 extra enrichments a month can be bought online, beyond on quote.
  • Free trial: where a trial is offered, the conditions shown when you start it apply. If a payment method was registered, the paid subscription starts at the end of the trial unless you cancel before; otherwise your workspace returns to the Free plan.
  • Quotas apply per workspace and per calendar month; unused quotas do not carry over. An action that would exceed a quota is not run.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods; you will be told at least 30 days in advance and may cancel before the change applies.

7. Cancellation and termination

  • You can cancel at any time. A monthly subscription ends at the end of the month already paid; a yearly subscription ends at the end of the year already paid and is not refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • We may suspend or terminate access in case of a serious breach of these terms, in particular unlawful prospecting, after notice where the situation allows it.
  • After termination, you can export your data for 30 days on request; your workspace is then deleted, subject to our legal retention obligations.

8. Your data and company data

The content of your workspace (offer description, lists, notes) remains yours. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the privacy policy. We do not sell it.

Company data is made available to you for your own internal business prospecting, under the licences of its sources. When you use it, you become the controller of your own processing of any personal data it contains.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its interface, texts and code belong to Findingbase or its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.

10. Availability and support

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and secure, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Maintenance may cause short interruptions. Support: contact@findingbase.com.

11. Liability

The Service is provided with reasonable care but without any guarantee of commercial result. To the extent permitted by law, Findingbase is not liable for indirect losses (lost profit, lost business, loss of data that you could have exported), and its total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You are responsible for your use of the results and indemnify Findingbase against claims resulting from your unlawful use of the Service, in particular unlawful prospecting.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes at least 30 days before they apply; if you do not accept them, you may cancel before that date.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, the parties will try to settle a dispute amicably. Failing that, the courts having jurisdiction for the publisher’s place of business, as identified in the legal notice, have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules.
